I entered this project with the need to create a native piece which will practice my visual stay telling skills and my animation. I also would like to explore my 2D hand drawn animation and take it to another level.
I've got a small idea involving a small girl riding a giant owl. The girl represents to me the purity of innocents and the embodiment of childhood. The owl is the great untamed nature. Owls also represent a way of traveling into the spirit world so as a symbol it hold a mystical meaning and for me links to the seldom ventured realm of the unconscious.
