I know we were told not to have a narrative to our piece of work but I need to work with narrative. I can't just create something to look pretty. I need a story to tell, a message to convey otherwise the work is pointless.
I have decided on a simple story of a girl searching or wondering a forest and finds a feather, which is the only colourful thing in the landscape, and follows a trial to a cave where she meets a creature and befriends it. thats the base narrative. I shall build on the characters, story and motives latter but form this base line I can start to compose sequences, shots and landscapes in order to tell this simple narrative.
It may be that for the final hand in that I only hand in the first couple of shot (enough to meet the 15s requirement) and complete the rest of the story later with the footage.

The next stage of development with be taking this narrative forward, developing the story line, character designs and set, as well as look for the set and overall piece.
